Telegent Systems and Brightstar Corp have announced a partnership to bring a low-cost handset that delivers live, free-to-air broadcast TV to Latin American and African consumers prior to this summer's 2010 football World Cup in South Africa. JVC has announced the early-March launch of the DLA-SH7NL, a 4K2K D-ILA projector. It incorporates three 1.27-inch 4K2K D-ILA display devices for high-quality imaging and dual ultra-high-pressure mercury lamps for 5000 lumens of brightness. Combining superb definition and resolution with low-cost maintenance, the 4K2K D-ILA projector is expected to be widely accepted for planetariums, museums, simulators and medical institutions, as well as used for high-spec designing and monitoring.
