AmberFin has released iCR Version 5.5 for its iCR ingest, transcode and quality control software range.

Version 5.5 includes HD standards conversion, new quality control developments and a range of enhancements to current workflow tools.

The release supports two new AmberFin products, the iCR Standards Converter, which offers state of the art file based standards conversion combined with transcode and rewrapping tools, and the iCR Smart Ingest - the world's first system combining baseband ingest and quality control.
