Sales of Blu-ray players set to break all records
26 July, 2010 - 08:55Sales of Blu-ray players in Europe are set to reach a new record high in 2010. Around 4.6 million units will be sold in EU member states, more than doubling the previous figure (+110%), according to the European Information Technology Observatory (EITO). It predicts that sales of Blu-ray players will rise by 49% to 770 million Euros. EITO believes that the upward trend will continue into 2011.
GlobeCast expands and rebrands its fibre network

NRK makes transition to HD

The software upgrade to Abit's installed HD ready Present-it automation system, will now provide the capability for the additional channels NRK2 and NRK3, to transmit in HD.

Global IPTV service revenue 'growing to US$46 billion by 2014'
